Preparatory work phase
All lines under construction 2021 Activity
The civil engineering phase of the Grand Paris Express started with great fanfare in June 2016! Since the 20th December 2021, the Noisy Champs to Pont-de-Sèvres tunnel has been completed, following the arrival of the Marina tunnel boring machine at the Créteil l Échat station worksite. This southern section of the future ring that will complete Line 15 stretches for a full 37 kilometres and required ten tunnel boring machines. Today, all the Grand Paris Express lines are under construction: network diversion at Bobigny Pablo-Picasso, demolition at Les Agnettes, underground work from Bourget Airport to Fort d Issy Vanves Clamart, from Palaiseau to Blanc-Mesnil, not forgetting the track laying at Noisy Champs and the interior fitting-out at the Aulnay and Champigny operating centres.
